February 23, 2026 - Gabriele Caramellino

The Business Care International Award, now in its eighth edition, is an award created by Massimo Veccia in 2019 in New York to recognize those who have distinguished themselves in innovation, culture, and business oriented toward the common good.

The 2026 edition was presented on December 5, 2025, at the Chamber of Deputies in Rome and on February 19, 2026, at Palazzo Firenze, the headquarters of the Dante Alighieri Society.

Jury members Fabrizio Ferragni, Paolo Liguori, Silvana Mangione, Alberto Milani, Alessandro Masi, MP Christian Di Sanzo, and journalist Johanna Rossi Mason attended the presentations.

There will be eleven honorees: eight Global Players, two Rising Stars, and one Special Mention, selected by the Business Care International Award Jury.

The honorees are: Nicola Bertinelli, president of the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium; Claudia Cremonini, vice president of Cremonini SpA; Italian diplomat Fabrizio Di Michele, former Consul General of Italy in New York; Sebastiano Fanizza, entrepreneur in luxury brand consulting; Milena Lerario, CEO of E-Geos; Pietro Salini, CEO of Webuild SpA; Chiara Sbarigia, president of the Audiovisual Producers Association; and Sabrina Zappia, president of the Italian & International Patrons of the Art of the Vatican Museums.

In the Rising Stars section, honorees will be musician and composer Marco Nodari and professor of medicine Aldostefano Porcari.

Special Mention will be given to the Foreign Press Association in Italy, represented by its director, journalist Elena Postelnicu.

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, March 27, 2026, in Rome, in the Sala della Regina of the Chamber of Deputies, and on Thursday, November 12, 2026, in New York, at the Consulate General of Italy.

"In this complex and fragmented historical moment, the Business Care International Award confirms its position as a point of reference for those who believe in the power of cultural, economic, scientific, and social exchange. The relevance of this initiative has reached an increasingly broad international audience. Our Award connects Europe, North America, Asia, and the rest of the world, supporting a vision of the future based on collaboration as a strategic element to address the challenges of this era," explained Massimo Veccia, president and founder of the Business Care International Award.
