The ceremony, which took place in New York, was introduced by the Consul General of the US city, Fabrizio Di Michele: “These are the absolutely high-quality realities that we love to host here in the Consulate and which give opportunity and prestige to the exchanges of extraordinary talents between Italy and the USA. Our proverbial individualism in these situations finds its balance and a strong sharing of objectives". For Di Michele, it was “a selection of truly important excellences, which converge on New York or are based in New York. And the peculiarity of this award is precisely that it brings together personalities from very different backgrounds, who however have had success as Italians. They are people we are not only proud of, but with whom we try to work and network to promote Italy in New York and in the United States.
