Paolo Liguori
Paolo Liguori is a leading figure in the Italian journalistic scene. He is currently Director of Tgcom24, the Mediaset Group’s information channel. During his career, he has held important roles in several newspapers, including the direction of the newspaper Il Giornale and the National Daily. Thanks to his decades of experience in the field of communication, he brings a unique and in-depth perspective in the media to the jury of the prize.

Alessandro Masi
Alessandro Masi is the Secretary General of the Dante Alighieri Society, an organization committed to the promotion of Italian language and culture all over the world. Under his leadership, the Company has expanded its international activities, becoming a reference point for the dissemination of Italian cultural heritage. He is the author of numerous essays and studies on the history of art and culture. His expertise in enhancing Italian culture makes it a valuable contribution to the jury.

Dott.ssa Silvana Mangione
Silvana Mangione is Deputy Secretary General of the General Council of Italians Abroad (CGIE), an organ that represents Italian communities in the world. Always committed to defending the rights of Italians abroad, he has contributed to numerous projects for the strengthening of ties between Italy and his diaspora. His international experience and commitment to the enhancement of Italian culture and identity represent an added value for the jury.

Dott. Fabrizio Ferragni
Fabrizio Ferragni is Director of Rai Italia, the channel of Italian Radio and Television dedicated to Italians in the world. In the past, he held strategic positions within the RAI, including the direction of TG1 Economics and the coordination of important publishing projects. His deep knowledge of international communication and media enriches the jury’s work with a global perspective.

Alberto Milani
Alberto Milani is the Chairman and Co-founder of Piazza Italia, a premier establishment located in Midtown New York City, dedicated to supporting Italian companies in securing housing and enhancing their business and brand presence in North America. His unwavering commitment to fostering economic growth and strengthening commercial ties between Italy and the United States is further demonstrated in his role as President of the Italy America Chamber of Commerce of New York. In this capacity, he coordinates the efforts of multiple chambers of commerce across North America and Mexico.
The Statute
Statute of the Business Care International Award Jury

The composition
The jury consists of 4 stable members plus the President, appointed for a term of three years, renewable.
2 extraordinary members are designated for a single edition, selected according to their competence or the specific theme of the award.
The jurors, both stable and extraordinary, are selected among personalities of the highest profile in their respective fields of expertise, to guarantee authority and prestige to the award.

Meetings and deliberations
The jury meets at least twice a year: one for the Rome edition and one for the New York edition.
Meetings can be held in presence or remotely, depending on the needs of the members.
Decisions are taken by a simple majority; in the event of a tie, the vote of the President of the jury prevails.

Roles
President: coordinates the work of the jury, represents the reference point for the organizing committee and holds the decisive vote in the event of a tie.
Secretary: Appointed among the members, he shall take care of the drafting of the meetings and the communication between the members.

Main Tasks
Identify and select the rewarded, in line with the reward values.
Propose themes and guidelines for future editions.
Ensure impartiality and transparency in the choice of candidates.

Selection criteria of the award-winning
The prize is awarded to personalities, institutions or organizations that have made a significant contribution in the cultural, scientific, media or business sectors.
Each member may propose candidates; the final discussion and selection take place collectively.

Mandates and replacements
The permanent members, including the President, remain in office for three years.
Extraordinary members participate in the work only for the edition to which they were invited.
In the event of resignation or impediment, the organizing committee of the prize shall replace the stable member.

Confidentiality
All the jury’s work is strictly confidential. The names of the winners will be made public only after the official resolution and the formal announcement.

Validity of the Regulation
This Statute shall enter into force upon its approval by the Organising Committee of the Prize and may be amended as a future requirement.
