George Gershwin from Rome to New York

It seems like a journey in reverse, but instead it's the ambitious intention to bring the musical show "George, My Brother" to the stages of the Big Apple.
The Recital, produced by Business Care International Award, represents yet another example of promoting Italian music and art in the United States, once again allowing emerging Italian talents to be discovered overseas.
The young but already established and esteemed jazz pianist Gianmarco Giannetti, through performances of the most famous pieces (and more) by the celebrated American composer, will step into his shoes and explore the extraordinary artistic and musical story of George Gershwin, told, year after year, through the narrative voice of his inspired lyricist: his brother Ira, played by journalist Roberto Menichini.
Following its successful performance at one of Rome's most prestigious Jazz Festivals, American audiences will also have the opportunity to relive the fascinating social and artistic atmosphere of early 1900s New York by listening to "George, My Brother," narrated by Ira. He will engage the audience by describing his deep personal and professional bond with George, a partnership that quickly made them the golden couple of American music from the 1920s to the 1940s.
Their artistic contributions will significantly influence composers over the last hundred years.
The America of the last century will be described to today's Americans through the universal language par excellence: music.
The show will take place in New York during the days of the 2026 Business Care International Award USA awards ceremony.
